The Flood Expo is the largest event of its kind in the world presenting solutions to widespread flooding problems from the world’s leading flood prevention companies, alongside an extensive seminar and workshop schedule highlighting new, cost-effective ways to prevent and manage floods.
Taking place on the 12th & 13th October at ExCeL London, you’ll find the latest research, products and solutions on the marketplace to help minimise – or even better, entirely avoid – the risk of potential flooding.
Geomorphology is an important, yet sometimes overlooked, aspect of flood risk. The British Society for Geomorphology is partnering with the Flood Expo to help communicate just how important geomorphology is to flood risk. The Society will have a stand at the event, and Chair of the Outreach sub-committee, Dr Annie Ockelford, will be presenting the work of the the Society and its members.
Tickets are free and can be applied for here.
